    I do occasionally experience dry eyes and a little scalp itch but asserting that it's caused by Hydrochloroquine would be anecdotal at best. It took about 5 weeks to take effect but my RA is basically a non factor now.

    I was just prescribed plaquenil to treat the cyst form of lyme. The doctor recommended it but I was worried about the expense. Plaquenil hydroxychloroquine sulfate dose, indications. Will plaquenil kill the encysted form of lyme? Buhner. LymeMD Plaquenil alone?
